 June 2018 Edition

Normally this time of the year there is a surge to head north to seek out the warmer weather, however, for those us who have to stay there are some events that will take the chill off.

A heart starter is the Gold Coast Airport Marathon which is a 42 km race which starts at Southport down to Burleigh up to Runaway Bay and finishes at Southport, this is from 30th June 2018 to 1st July 2018.

For the Car enthusiasts, the start of the 2018 Great Endeavour Rally begins on 13th June to 23 June 2018 from Macintosh Island through Dubbo, Taylors Arm, Moree and finishing at Yamba 8 days later in a good cause for the Endeavour Foundation.

For a more laid back Event, you have the Gold Coast Expo from 27th July 2018 to 29th July 2018 which highlight the Caravan and Camping with a difference.

We hope you all enjoy the rest of the month and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries regarding your schemes.

Submitting an Owner’s Motion

Tower Body Corporate
In Queensland, a Lot owner in a body corporate scheme has the opportunity to submit motions for consideration at General Meetings at any time. For an owner’s motion to be considered at the Annual General Meeting, it must be received by the Secretary or Body Corporate Manager by the last day of the Body Corporate’s financial year.

I’m the angry note lady

Kristen Henry,
The Sunshine Coast Daily

IS IT OK for someone to leave their personal belongings outside their apartment? Bikes, shoes, sometimes even garbage (which is en route to the bin) in the corridor of an apartment building? That's right, the common corridor. Even if there's plenty of space in said corridor, are we all cool with communal living that spreads our items into shared areas?
