Hello again readers

Our Newsletter last month covered Body Corporate Laws, how to Nominate a Body Corporate Committee, Appeal on the Refusal of a Pet and Water Damage. We do hope this was helpful to you or someone you know as we would encourage the distribution of our Newsletter to your family and friends.

You may not be aware but we have updated our website and made it more streamline and user friendly. We look forward to any feedback you wish to share with us on this.

For those that were lucky enough to be in and around Surfers Paradise on Sunday 30th September you would have witnessed a spectacular display at the International Kite Festival.

Earlier this month, from 7th October to 13th October the residents of Runaway Bay were privileged to see the world’s elite parachutists compete for the title of World Champion in the fastest human sport on earth. I do hope those in the area were able to catch a glimpse of this unique event.

We have all struggled with the traffic on the Gold Coast and this month is no exception. Yes, the Gold Coast 600 will be upon us in no time.  The Vodafone Gold Coast 600 starts on Friday 19th October until Sunday 21st October 2018, however, be aware that alterations to the traffic conditions started on 10th September.  For a full list of road works please visit information on the Supercars site.

We have something again for our pet lovers. The AusPet 2018 is on over the weekend of 20th to 21st October 2018 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.  This is part of the Prestigious Annual Conference and Trade Show for the Australian Pet and Aquatics Industry. The expo is not just for traditional pets like dogs and cats. Visitors will be able to look at, touch, hold, pat and cuddle a diverse array of pets including fish, reptiles, guinea pigs, goats and more.  There’ll even be opportunities over the weekend to adopt a new family member!

AusPet 2018 is also very proud to have Channel Nine’s Shelley Craft onboard as the expo ambassador who will be making appearances throughout the weekend. Please visit the AustPet site for more information and a full list of all events.

On a more serious note the Beach to Bush Farmers Relief Fundraiser will be held on Saturday 27th October 2018. This event will occur only ONCE, entry is free and there will be a Truck and Motor Bike Show, Shine, with Graphics and also Muscle Cars will be rocking up. There will be lots of fun for the kids with a Jumping Castle, Buck and Bull, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Pony Rides also some yummy Food Vans and Top Note Karaoke will be there to keep your children occupied.

The Gold Coast from November 2nd will again accommodate more that 13,000 participants from around the globe to compete in the world’s biggest and best biennial masters games. 2018 is the year to ‘Play it, Live it, Love it’ at the Pan Pacific Masters Games.

Don't forget the popular Melbourne Cup Race. It's getting close to that time again where this one race “Stops A Nation”.

Last to gain a mention is the Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk, , 26th to 28th October 2018. You never know who you'll meet!
