Strata News | Tower Body Corporate

November 2021 Newsletter

Welcome to the November edition of Tower News.

This month, Tower are proud to announce that we have become members of the Queensland branch of the Strata Community Association (SCA). SCA (QLD) is the peak industry body for body corporate and community title management (strata management) in Queensland. The SCA is primarily focused on the professionalisation of the industry, by raising educational and ethical standards. It’s something Tower have always tried to achieve internally and hopefully can now be a part of at a wider level. The future looks bright.

As body corporate managers, our ultimate goal is to help our customers by putting them in the best position to make informed decisions for the benefit of their schemes. Over the last few weeks, we have made a small addition in our capacity to do this by adding a weekly video chat to our Facebook stream – many thanks to the literally tens of people who have tuned in 😊

The video on making committee meetings more efficient proved popular. We have expanded on the topic for this month’s feature article which considers some handy tips for streamlining your body corporate congregations.

Elsewhere in this issue:

  • CCTV in Strata. Are you being watched?
  • Permission for Installing Solar Panels
  • The Mega-apartment trend
  • and more.....

Sign up for Levies and Notices via Email

We continue to encourage as many owners as possible to sign up to receive levies and notices by email. Unfortunately, the post is slow and inconsistent at the moment while emails are fast and guaranteed. Signing up also helps save your plan money as distribution costs lower. We need to receive notification in writing to make the change 'Please send my notices/levies by email' is sufficient.

Use this button ↓ to advise your body corporate manager or mail our general inbox at info@towerbodycorporate.com.au.
